Sistrunk Festival 2024

Fort Lauderdale Sistrunk Parade & Festival. This event is sponsored by the Sistrunk Historical Organization. It's mission is to celebrate the historical and cultural richness, and contributions of people of African descent and their impact on the global community. The 44th annual Sistrunk 5K Run/Walk started at Delevow Park at 2520 Sistrunk Blvd and traveled east down Sistrunk Blvd to NW 9th Avenue with marching banks, step teams, classic cars, floats and more! The Charmettes of Broward County and their fellow Charmers joined alongside in celebrating the historical and cultural richness of our community.
